Updates on Germany Clampdown for Online Gambling

There will be no online gambling in Germany. Under the law which came into force, online gaming and betting are prohibited, although horse racing is allowed. This has been decided by the European Commission. The new passed law was dismayed by European online gaming industry.
The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) stated their side that the ban breaks European Union law and is totally impractical. This new law on online gambling will took effect this year and the European Commission is responsible to all Germans to get acquainted of this new law. Due to this new law, it creates great impact on the gaming market of the country.
The Commission will pass a legal proceeding with formal letter to Germany with this new law and possibly terminated the old legal action that was started last year.
It was on the power of the European Court of Justice to decide whether Germany will have to replace their laws or not. This will be the final proceeding on this court the Commission is holding.
