The project released recently, surveyed approximately three thousand students of the 12 to 17 age group from six mixed stream schools. The report encourages student to play some free casino games online for fun.
The report also claims to have found that found that out of the total number of students gambling in the US, 2.4 percent are supposed to be considered as problem gamblers and it also puts 6.4 percent of these students at the “at risk” level.
The report goes on to say that Male students gamble more than their female counter parts. The Education Department, who conducted these studies, has been trying to help such cases, by teaching students, year after year, the dangers of gambling addiction.
The Education department said that, while the numbers were satisfactory this year, it is going to continue to hold classes and release more educational programs that could potentially help such students
