One of the biggest gaming software developer companies; Cryptologic Ltd stated Monday the 17th that the WPT Enterprises Inc. had decided to expand both their company’s working circle as well as their deal for their World Poker Tour.
World Poker Tour is a television show aired mostly on the continental US and its territories based on a series of High-stakes poker tournaments being well received by many in the target viewing market.
The television hit series features most of the world’s professional poker players and was started in the United States by Steven Lipscomb, current CEO of WPT Enterprises.
Even though the show is aired in the Continental United States, the poker tournaments aired are played both in the United States as well as internationally causing many to become addicted to this table game.
Under the arrangements determined by WPT Enterprises Inc, the World Poker Tour will expand their internet casino offering and will incorporate two languages.
The languages are German and Spanish providing their own internet poker rooms so that native and adoptive speakers can find some comfortable ground.
Aditionally, WPT will also extend the exclusive use they already have on CryptoLogic software up to mid-year 2011. This decision might reflect some changes on the NASDAQ stocks of both companies: CRYP and WPTE.
One of the biggest successes of both WPT Enterprise Inc as well as their TV hit show World Poker Tour is that anyone who can pay the buy-in or win a satellite tournament can play any of their top professional players.
Their many innovations such as the players’’ hole cards viewed through a small camera as well as the special programs like the Hollywood Home Game and Ladies Night have become the viewers’ most enticing characteristics.
It has been such a great and enthusiastic success for WPT that they have released their own pinball version with the World Poker Tour as a theme from the Stern Pinball company.
As said, it will be an interesting behavior in the stock markets for these two companies that could mean great wins for all investors.
